This course provides training for Specialists and Engineers on Integrated Terminal Weather System (ITWS) Hardware (Product Generator, NWS Filter Unit, DLUD, and Test Tool) with 2023 LINUX Rehost System Support Modification (SSM). This course is 19 hours Academy Lecture and 45 hours Academy Lab. Instruction will include the use of applicable Maintenance Handbooks, Maintenance Requirements, Standards and Tolerances, Intervals, etc.; Use of Certification Procedures including intervals, exceptions and log statement(s). Lecture and lab subjects include system block diagram theory; subsystem Line-Replaceable Unit (LRU) equipment operation; site-level maintenance and test tool procedures; MDT system-level control and monitoring operations; LRU fault isolation, configuration, and replacement procedures; software loading; system certification procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
