| This course provides training for Technical Operations Personnel who maintain the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) Reference Station (WRS). The course is an Instructor Led Academy Resident course and 80 hours in length (40 hours-Lectures/40 hours-Labs). Lecture subjects include Introduction to WAAS, System Power Conditioner, Data Collection and Processing (DCP), Terrestrial Communications Subsystem (TCS), WAAS Receivers, Frequency Standard and Fault Isolation Overview. Laboratory subjects include configuration procedures for WRS Data Collection Processor, Access Routers and Power Conditioners, local dialogs and displays, troubleshooting, and periodic maintenance.
