| This course provides training for Specialists on the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) G4 Configuration used in Remote Tower Facilities. Labs. Lecture subjects include Introduction to the System, Remote Tower Rack Corrective Maintenance, Remote Tower Display Workstation Corrective Maintenance, Periodic Maintenance, and Troubleshooting. Laboratory exercises include Hands-on Learning and detailed Component and System Troubleshooting. This Instructor-Led course provides training for the Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (ATSS) who works on the STARS G4 system at Remote Towers. The course is 56 hours (7 days) with 24 hours of Academy lecture and 32 hours of Academy laboratory . | |||
