During this course, students will go through two modules in order to learn the concepts of operations for the White Superior Engine Generator and the Katolight Engine Generator. Topics include the following: Introduction, Engine Speed Devices, Fuel, Air, and Exhaust Devices, Air Start Devices, Lube Oil System Devices, Cooling System Devices, Terminal Boxes, EGB-13P Governor/Actuator, and EGB-2P Governor/Actuator. At the end of each module is a Summary and Self-Check. There is one multiple-choice exam used as the scoring weight of this course.
