This web-based course is for Tech OpsTechnicians, Engineers, Specialists, and Technical Center Personnel. It takes approximately one hour to complete this self-paced course through eLMS. During this course, students will go through two modules in order to learn the concepts of operations for Switchgear Equipment and CB-8160 High-Current Test Set Equipment. Topics include the following: Introduction and functionality of Switchgear Equipment and CB-8160 High-Current Test Set Equipment. In module one, Switchgear Equipment identifies the different BUSs and associated, or alternative names with each BUS: Building Service Bus (N-Bus), Essential Bus (E-Bus), Standby Bus 1 (S-Bus), Standby Bus 2 (SS-Bus), UPS Supply Bus (P-Bus), UPS Output Bus (C-Bus), with an end-of-module Summary and Self-Check. The second module, CB-8160 High-Current Test Set Equipment addresses the functionality and Uses, Modes, Stab Sets, using various cables and has an end of module Summary with a Self-Check.
