(49460004) TECHNICAL OPERATIONS SAFETY ACTION PROGRAM (T-SAP) INTRODUCTION AND SUBMITTER TRAINING
BRIEFING
2018-10-09
The Technical Operations Safety Action Program (T-SAP) Introduction and Submitter Training is designed to teach applicable tech-ops employees details of the T-SAP voluntary, non-punitive, safety reporting program. Employees will be presented with details of T-SAP and an overview for submitting T-SAP reports. The premise of the program is that front line employees, have a unique perspective and understanding of safety and can better identify aviation safety concerns, threats, and risks, in their official capacity as tech-ops employees. Through such reporting, all parties will have access to valuable safety information that may not otherwise be available. This information will be used to identify and address aviation safety concerns. The components of T-SAP include the collection, analysis, and retention of aviation safety data reviewed and acted upon by ATO, AOV and PASS to improve aviation safety. T-SAP is a program which utilizes voluntary employee reporting of aviation safety issues, concerns and inadvertent non-compliance of standards and/or directives. This course requires completion of either the prerequisite course or documented attendance of an instructor led T-SAP training (49460004) prior to December 1st 2017..
