This 24 hour long training includes background information, health effects, overview of abatement Construction projects, safety system design specs, field trip, employee PPE, safety hazards, fiber aerodynamics and control, designing abatement solutions, budgeting/cost estimation, writing ababement specs, preparing drawings, contract prep & admin, legal liabilities, defenses, replacement, role of consultants, occupied building, regulatory and regulatory requirements. An 8 hour refresher by qualified EPA instructor is required every 12 months. Course must meet requirements for abatement project designers IAW 40CFR 763, Subpart E, APP C.
