Participants will be able to administer CPR and use an AED, Able to identify key elements of a PAD program. Course should include, but not be limited to, the following topics: Department of Health and Human Services and General Services, Administration, Guidelines for PAD Programs in Federal Facilities, Applicable FAA, state and local regulations, Hands on demonstration of AED use,Requirements of a PAD program, Maintenance, use, and limitations of AEDs, Sudden cardiac arrest symptoms, Demonstration of CPR techniques, Liability issues and the Good Samaritan Act, Bloodborne pathogens awareness DRIVERS: none ******IMPORTANT*****Dependent upon the Instructors & Students certification: Annually American Red Cross, Annually National Safety Council, Every 2-years American Heart Association (Suggested by ETAG that this be the standard to save on training costs)
