Participants shall be able to: Recognize fall hazards in the work area, Use basic fall arrest systems and pre-designed fall restraint systems, and mantain and inspect fall protection equipment. Course should also include: Lab exercise to demonstrate the following. - ladder climb onto a platform - basic fall restraint demonstration Review of applicable policies and procedures, Review of rescue policies, Workplace fall hazard awareness and identification, Proper procedures for use of fall protection equipment, Proper attachment points on harness and proper attachment methods, Correct procedures for handling, inspection and storage of fall protection equipment, Consequences of improper use of fall protection equipment, familiarization with rooftop work, Proper use of fixed and portable ladder
