This 2 hours course will provide each student with information on how loud noise can cause temporary and Permanent Hearing loss, discuss where exposures may be most prevalent, EG:, work around large air craft. turbo jets, airport ramps, hangars, PCS equipment or chiller rooms, construction, engine generators ect., and associate with high noise levels. Stresses the need for following safety policies, respond to questions and demonstrate proper use of hearing protector. (Prerequisites: Designated to be in the WSA hearing conservation program.) Annual refresher mandatory, (also 2 hours).
