This 8 hour training includes background information, health effects, overview of abatement Construction projects, safety system design specs, field trip, employee PPE, safety hazards, fiber aerodynamics and control, designing abatement solutions, budgeting/cost estimation, writing ababement specs, preparing drawings, contract prep & admin, legal liabilities, defenses, replacement, role of consultantns, occupied building, regulatory and regulatory requirements. Must be provided by a qualified EPA instructor is required every 12 months. Course must meet requirements for abatement project designers IAW 40CFR 763, Subpart E, APP C.
