| An intensive one and one-half day course addressing scheduling and managing travel time under the regulations. This course is offered as training by itself or in conjunction with Federal TDY Travel (FAA82270). The course discusses and explains statutory provisions and implementing regulations for scheduling and managing employee travel time for pay and credit (travel comp time) purposes. Its design is dedicated to practical problems facing personnel who administer time and attendance for travel. This course addresses pay administration under Title 5 and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Specifically addressed are changes in the statutes and regulations regarding non-compensable travel comp time. Individuals attending this session should fully understand the rules and regulations for recording travel time for pay purposes and solutions for minimizing overtime for pay and compensatory travel time | |||
