| This course is designed for developmental en route air traffic control specialists (ATCS). It provides job-related knowledge and skill-oriented training. The course consists of classroom instruction, medium fidelity skills practices utilizing and interactive pc-based instructional system, and full fidelity En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) simulation in an en route laboratory environment. Instruction is administered on the En Route Decision Support Tool (EDST) formerly known as User Request Evaluation Tool (URET) and enables the developmental to progress into field-delivered stages of air traffic control training. | |||
