| This course is designed for government and industry personnel who have a need to develop instrument approach procedures using IPDS. Graduates of this course will have a comprehensive understanding of IPDS functionality. Additional emphasis is placed on data management. The course consists of lectures, demonstrations and use of the software by the student. The student will design RNAV (GPS) and RNAV (RNP) procedures in a laboratory environment. The course contains multiple exercises designed to give the student realistic hands-on experience. Prerequisites: FAA15300050 and FAA15300086 or equivalent training/experience. | |||
