The purpose of this course is to provide new AIR employees with an overview of the technical knowledge they will require to perform their jobs effectively. Subjects include AIR's Roles and Responsibilities, Regulations and Policy, Type, Production and Airworthiness Certification, Continued Operational Safety Management, International considerations, and Designees and Delegations. Methods of instruction include lecture, student participation in practical exercises, collaborative discussions, and exams. Internal Audience: This course is intended for Aircraft Certification Employees. External Audience: This course is available to non-FAA personnel.
