This course provides discipline-specific training for Systems Aviation Safety Engineers (ASEs) in the interpretation and application of technical guidance - including FAA regulations, orders, advisory circulars (ACs), and other policy documents. It covers procedures, systems-related engineering processes, and certification guidance for major electrical and mechanical aircraft systems. Instructional methods include lectures, practical exercises and collaborative discussions. Assessments may also be administered. Internal Audience: This course is intended for Aircraft Certification Employees. External Audience: This course is available to non-FAA personnel. Prerequisite(s): FAA21016 Part 21
