| 22 hour course for Flight Standards (AFX) Leaders. Successful leaders appreciate the value of coaching in supporting and enhancing employee performance and development. Coaching has never been more necessary than now, where change is the norm and individual resilience and performance are crucial to team and organizational success. Using a coach approach in daily leadership interactions leverages individual strengths and abilities for maximum performance. In this course, students will:-increase their awareness of coaching and its benefits-introduce themselves to basic coaching concepts-explore their own individual coaching style and its impacts-learn the Coaching Conversation Model and how to use it-practice the Model with real-life situations-gain competency in using a coach approach through practice and feedback The course includes 3 follow-up one hour coaching practicums led by the Leadership Development Branch to be completed within 120 days of the instructor led portion. | |||
