| This training provides Flight Standards Aviation Safety Inspectors (ASIs) and applicable support personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively use the Operations Safety System (OPSS) to draft, issue, and manage authorizing documents from standardized templates maintained in the Safety Assurance System (SAS). Participants will apply knowledge and skills in SAS by viewing scenario-based demonstrations, completing hands-on exercises and reviewing educational resources. NOTES: (1) This course replaces cancelled course FAA21000058. (2) Those who have taken FAA21000058, and perform OPSS should only take the web-based FAA27100377 OPSS Transition to SAS course.
