This course is designed for airworthiness and avionics inspectors. Upon completion the inspector will understand the basic concepts of human factors as they relate to aircraft maintenance and be able to add value to their assigned operator's programs. Topics include error chain recognition, error reporting systems, performance indicators, communication, shift and task turnover, situational awareness and fatigue. The training methods include informal lecture, hands on practical exercises, small group exercises, and case studies. This course was previously 28473 Human Factors in Aviation Maintenance.
