| This course provides the knowledge and skills needed for the OE aeronautical information specialist. The course includes a review of program documents, notifications, and obstruction standards. Training in: signature authority on OE/AAA cases which do not exceed 14CFR Part 77 Obstruction Standards and have no adverse effect; marking and lighting decisions; communications; recognition of potential or actual aeronautical problems; requesting supplemental notice; traffic pattern criteria; circularization process; and special statements. Instruction includes classroom activities, practical exercises, instruction in program software, scenario-based discussions concerning the application of the standards, procedures, and current policies. | |||
