This refresher course in aircraft accident investigation is for personnel responsible for conducting or supporting investigations of aircraft accidents and incidents. The purpose of the course is to provide some refresher training, current case studies, new systems, and subject matter outside of but relevant to an accident investigation, to the attention of journey-level inspectors and engineers. Topics change based on current trends but may include material such as Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), Legal Issues, Avionics, Accident Analysis, and Media Relations. New investigation techniques and procedures may be presented and existing policy will be reviewed. Target audience to include applicable support personnel.
