COURSE 2004-02-09
This course examines aircraft accidents/incidents from the standpoint of human error. Nearly all accidents involve human error and/or omission. The human element is examined for direct and contributing factors in recent investigations. Human performance in flight operations, aircraft maintenance, air traffic control, government regulators, corporate executives, Part 121, 135, and 91 operator's decisions are scrutinized for cause factors. This course is the behavior and judgement portion of investigator's training leading to journeyman investigator status. The course is open to all career fields in the FAA. Target audience to include applicable support personnel.
